To facilitate free sharing of thinking, all Council Members must comply with the following principles:
- Co-ownership
The Council is run solely for the benefit of its membership by its membership (and not consultants or any other organisation). As such, the Members are responsible for selecting the subjects discussed and speakers to be invited. - Contribution
All Members are expected to share knowledge and actively participate in discussions, each aiming to contribute more than they take away. Each Member should bring value-driving ideas, insights and information. - Confidentiality
Members should not share confidential information but are free to use any other information obtained during a meeting as they wish to, provided they do not disclose the identity of the Member who supplied it. - Competition
Whilst the Council will facilitate collective knowledge sharing, it will not support any anti-competitive activity; each Member may opt out of any activity and remains fully responsible for how any information received is used.
